Romeo and Juliet

A stroming success, Romeo and Juliet was performed at the Grange Arts Centre in Oldham 2004.

Oldham Theatre Workshop and Mal Smith reunited to envoke the core of Shakespeare's tragic masterpiece - The doomed fate of the two starcrossed lovers ties together themes of prejudice, of honour, loyalty and family, of the innocence of youth and the ignorance of pride. But too often, the key point is missed....

This is a love story. Without that, the other threads are empty. And so that is what we told ....
